    An excellent way to get your swim workout in for the day! Monthly pass: $40 Quarterly pass: $100 Daily pass: $5 at the door, exact change only ***Once Swim lessons move to weeknights in late November we might be able to offer more lap swimming possibly on Saturday mornings and in the evenings-- IF we add these to the calendar these will NOT be included in the MWF lap swim they are on their own, they will be $5 a time, and you can registered online or pay at the door.

    Using an Air Fryer to cook vegetables is quick—and the healthy results are delicious! In this class Kirsten will demonstrate a variety of recipes using in-season local and/or commonly available vegetables including Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Miso Sesame Kale Chips, and Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. There will be ample time for questions during the session, and participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can follow along at your convenience.

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) recognizes that parents are their child’s first and most important teachers. ECFE offers parents hands-on learning experiences and parenting discussions specific to their child's age that will help build the foundation for a lifetime of learning. What happens in an ECFE class? 1. Parent and child interaction time: A licensed early childhood teacher and assistant provide developmentally appropriate activities, songs and stories for parents and children to enjoy together. 2. Child time: A time devoted to learning through play and activities with licensed teachers and assistants while parents participate in a parent discussion time in a separate room. 3. Parent Time: Parents or caregivers participate in a discussion led by a licensed parent educator. Joys and challenges of parenting are shared and topic discussions are designed to address the developmental needs of each group. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes meet once a week. Together, parents and children participate in activities and experiences that foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language skills. ECFE teachers use the Parent Education Core Curriculum Framework and Early Childhood Indicators of Progress: Minnesota’s Early Learning Standards provided through the Minnesota Department of Education. This will help improve your overall fitness with minimal stress on muscles and joints. You will need a towel, swimsuit, water bottle and bring your own hand weights 1 to 5 lbs if you have them. Drop-ins welcome $10/session.

Please bring bag lunch, water, notebook & pencil Dress comfortably If possible, please bring your own doll. (Cabbage Patch sized doll is good) This course gives current and future babysitters (ages 11-16) the skills and confidence to care for infants, toddlers and school-age children. We will use videos, hands-on activities, and problem solving. Babysitter's Training teaches youth how to: Handle emergencies, accidents and illnesses with first aid & CPR Recognize safety and injury prevention Communicate with parents Supervise young children Feed, diaper and care for infants Remain safe as the sitter
  • Basic Dog Obedience

    Bring your dog (6 months and older) to learn basic commands: come, sit, lay down, and stay. Learn how to walk your dog comfortably on a leash (no flexy leash/leads), and how to pay attention to you instead of other dogs or distractions. Participants must be adult or at least 12 years old (and anyone under 15 must have a parent present) . Orientation is first night of class 6-7pm NO DOGS FIRST NIGHT. Must have proof of current rabies vaccination and certificate must be brought to class the first night. All participants must sign a liability waiver. CDC guidelines will be followed, including distancing and maximum number of participants. Instructor Jennifer Jablonski is a trainer at Twin Ports Dog Training Club.

    Beginning Finnish will be a beginning prepare practice conversations and exercises in a group. Instructor's mother tongue is Finnish (Karelian dialect). She took the Finnish course at the Petrozavodsk State University. We will discuss in Finnish the topics typical for beginners. Books do not need to be purchased. This is one of the heritage languages of the area, and we are planning to add more.

Within the first semester we will all learn to read using the Cyrillic alphabet. It is not as tough as it looks. Some people start reading within hours.
