  • Guided Wild Mushroom Walk

    This class is ideal for folks that already have some basic knowledge of wild mushrooms or have previously taken the Wild Mushrooms 101 class and are looking for more practice foraging and identifying mushrooms in the field. In this class we will go on a guided hike with wild mushroom identification and foraging expert, Ariel Bonkoski, to practice identifying in the field and hopefully find some yummy, foraged finds to go home with! Students should come prepared in comfortable clothes and shoes to hike in and water. Optional things to bring are baskets, mesh bags, paper bags, etc. to carry mushrooms in during the hike and your wild mushroom field guides.

    Been thinking about learning how to fish Lake Superior? Let Captain Cameron of Team Crush Outdoors www.teamcrushoutdoors.com share his knowledge with you. Captain Cameron will share the techniques he has been perfecting for the last 10 years on water. This 5-hour hands-on class is geared to the fisherman interested in learning how to effectively troll for salmon and lake trout. Topics covered include downriggers, lure selection, planer boards, lead core/copper, dipsy divers and much more. By the end of class you will know how to effectively run a 12 rod spread on any boat. The class will be held live while trolling on the waters of Lake Superior on our fully rigged 10 meter Trojan. Need to have a MN fishing license.
