Beach Rules and FAQNo children under the age of 12 will be admitted unless accompanied by an adult or responsible individual. 12 years and up can come alone, but please swim with a buddy.Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult while in the water.Lifeguards are provided to help prevent accidents and ensure patron safety, but swimmers are responsible for their own health and safety.All swimmers must shower before entering the water. Any person having an infectious or communicable disease, open blisters, cuts, sores, or infected eyes is not permitted in the water. Swimmers must wear appropriate swimming attire (no cutoffs).Swimmers not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper or plastic pants and a swimsuit.All swimmers,11 and under, will be required to wear a life jacket outside of the slide areas (canoe & frog), or 9-11 year olds can test out of life jacket requirement, or show their level 4 certificate issued by Cloquet Community Ed . Only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices may be worn in the water. We do have lifejackets available for rent. Sizes: infant, 0-30 lbs., Child 30 - 50 lbs., and youth 50 - 90 lbs. Cost is $1 for rental and available at the front desk. Limited sizes. Snorkels are not permitted. Can I bring food with me to The Beach? Patrons can bring food to the Beach. We will have vending machines and ice cream available to purchase at the desk. Please no glass, alcoholic beverages, grills, potlucks or birthday cakes. The pavilion outside of the Beach is available to rent for birthday parties.
