The engaging summer camp is divided into two segments: the first will focus on hands-on photography learning, and the second will teach students how to fly a drone. Throughout this fun and educational week, students will explore photography, whether they are taking pictures with a smartphone or using a professional camera. Here’s a sneak peek at what they will master: 1. Camera Confidence: Learn how to use your camera settings like a pro. 2. Creative Composition: Discover how to frame shots and use light, color, and angles to make your photos stand out. 3. Action Shots & Portraits: Perfect the art of capturing fast-moving moments and showcasing someone's best side. Compete in creative scavenger hunts and themed photography challenges. By the end of the week, students will have personalized portfolio images and the confidence to continue creating long after camp is over. In the second half of the camp, students will learn how to fly a drone. Each day, they will practice controlling and navigating drones expertly. Whether they are newcomers or have some flying experience, all students will improve their skills. Daily sessions will include exciting drone challenges such as obstacle courses, precision landings, and team relay races. The camp will conclude with a friendly drone-flying competition, allowing students to showcase their new skills to their families. Note, all drone flying will be done indoors.
Additional $45 supply fee* to cover drone cost (which should be handed to the instructor on the first day of camp)
*All students will use the SAME beginner model drone during the instruction, which has limited height capabilities, making it suitable for classroom learning. After the camp ends, you may keep the drone.
