Lens & Leaves: A Fall Photography Experience

Join us for a hands-on photography class designed to help you master your camera while exploring the stunning fall landscape. This immersive workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to elevate their photography skills and learn how to truly capture the vibrant colors and textures of autumn.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Mastering manual settings: ISO, aperture, shutter speed
  • Composition techniques for breathtaking landscape shots
  • How to use natural light to your advantage
  • Tips for capturing the rich reds, golds, and oranges of fall foliage
  • Field practice with one-on-one guidance and feedback

What to Bring:

  • Your DSLR or mirrorless camera (manual mode capable)
  • Tripod (optional but recommended)
  • charged battery and memory card
  • Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. We will be walking down a short ways on the Willard Munger trail to the bridge that goes over the river.

Whether you're just getting started or looking to refine your landscape skills, this class will give you the tools and confidence to shoot like a pro in the great outdoors!

Amy Arntson

Amy is an award-winning photographer and licensed drone pilot from Carlton, Minnesota. She specializes in sports photography, family/seniors and real estate photography. You can see Amy at high school games doing freelance photography work for the local newspapers.
