Our BeachPinehurst Park is a great place to go for a swim with filtered, chlorinated water and a sand-bottom. Located in Cloquet, Minnesota. Just off Hwy 33 - at the intersection of 33 and Carlton Avenue.
This class will use "First Finnish Reader for Beginners" Enni Saarinen mor intensely and will incorporate the TPR story telling method into each class. This will expand your vocabulary and sentence structures necessary for communication. Each week we will practice phonics to avoid reading Finnish words using American reading rules. 1-12 "survival phrases" will be taught in every class.
I worked in ISD 94, Cloquet, MN for a quarter of a century! And I loved it! I was fortunate to teach German, ESL, Russian, and Spanish.
My Bachelor’s in teaching English and German is from the University in Petrozavodsk, Russia. I completed my 2 Master`s degrees at UMD and UConn.
I am retired now but I still enjoy teaching languages.
