Russian 1B

Enrichment and Recreation / General -
Spring/Summer 2026

This course will continue practicing reading drills in the cyrillic alphabet. The purpose is to achieve complete fluency in reading in Cyrillic by the end of the Russian 1B course. To expand the vocabulary and basic sentence structures the "Easy Russian Reader" will be used with emphasis on story telling. At every lesson about 10-12 "survival Russian " phrases will be practiced.

Tatyana Weber-Larionova

I worked in ISD 94, Cloquet, MN for a quarter of a century! And I loved it! I was fortunate to teach German, ESL, Russian, and Spanish.

My Bachelor’s in teaching English and German is from the University in Petrozavodsk, Russia. I completed my 2 Master`s degrees at UMD and UConn.

I am retired now but I still enjoy teaching languages.
