As a woman who often goes solo on backcountry adventures, this is a common question I've been asked. People mean well with their concern for my safety, but how nervous should I be? In this online class, we'll review statistics for hazards one might encounter in the Minnesota backcountry and include some how-tos for planning safer adventures.
