Please note that our pool is a competition pool and so the water temperature is set lower to accommodate, especially between August - December.  If unsure if you child would tolerate the cooler temperatures, please come to one of our Family Friday night swims.

Parent and Child Aquatics: Ages 6 months to 4 years old
Parent and Child Aquatics Level 1 (formerly Water Babies): Ages 6 months - 2 years. Familiarize participants with the water and teach swimming readiness skills. Provide safety information for parents and teach techniques parents can use to orient their children to the water.

Parent and Child Aquatics Level 2 (formerly Tadpoles): Ages 2 to 4 years - Builds on skills learned in Parent and Child Aquatics Level 1
Preschool Aquatics: Ages 4 to 6
Preschool Aquatics Level 1 (formerly Water Whales): Ages 4 to 6. Water adjustment, floating, entry, movement, safety, and listening skills.
Preschool Aquatics Level 2 (formerly Jellyfish): Ages 4 to 6.
Recommended for students who have passed Preschool Aquatics Level 1, but are not 6 years old. Build on and improve skills learned in Preschool Aquatics Level 1.
Learn-to-Swim: Ages 6+
Level 1 - Introduction to Basic Water Skills (Ages 6+) Purpose: Helps students feel comfortable in the water, develop safe practices around water.
Level 2 - Fundamental Aquatic Skills Purpose: Gives students success with fundamental skills.
Level 3 - Stroke Development Purpose: Builds on the skills in Level 2 through additional guided practices.
Level 4 - Stroke Improvement Purpose: Develops confidence in the skills learned and improves other aquatic skills.
Level 5 - Stroke Refinement Refines skills learned in Level 4. Swim distances and stroke knowledge are increased. Participants refine skills of all six swimming strokes (i.e. front crawl, back crawl, butterfly, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke)
Level 6 -Swimming and Skill Proficiency- Personal Water Safety: Refine strokes so participants swim them with greater efficiency and effectiveness over longer distances. Learn how to prevent aquatic emergencies in various aquatics environments and to introduce and practice self rescue techniques
