RESERVING PARK FACILITIES: 


Reserving park facilities must be completed by using one of the following:


Senior Center  for the Senior Center in Pine Valley

City Park Request  for all other park facilities


Once a request has been confirmed with Cloquet Community Education, the permittee must sign the facility agreement and pay for the rental within 2 weeks of reserving.  If the permittee does not complete this within 2 weeks, the date becomes available to others.  Office hours for Cloquet Community Education are 8 - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday and is located at door 2 of Cloquet Middle School, 2001 Washington Avenue.


For indoor facilities, the damage deposit is paid and held when the permittee picks up the key.  After the key is returned and the City confirms the facility was left in a satisfactory condition, the deposit will be returned to the permittee.


BUILDING ACCESS 

Access to the facility is ONLY during rental reservation times indicated on the permit. No early access is allowed. Facility may be booked before or after your reservation. 


DAMAGE DEPOSIT 

A $100 refundable damage deposit is required for all building rentals. Refunds of damage deposits may be fully or partially withheld for any of the following reasons:  


Damage to the facility  

Misuse of the facility  

Inadequate cleanup  

Missing or damaged equipment  

Additional janitorial or staff time after your event  

Misrepresentation of the type of event being held or residency status  

Misrepresentation of the group/individual using the facility  

Early entry or late exit of the facility  

Not having a copy of the permit on site during the event 


Damage fees that exceed $100 will be billed to the permittee. Any unpaid damage fees will go to collections.
