Starting SoonBasic Dog ObedienceGeneralBring your dog (6 months and older) to learn basic commands: come, sit, lay down, and stay. Learn how to walk your dog comfortably on a leash (no flexy leash/leads), and how to pay attention to you instead of other dogs or distractions. Participants must be adult or at least 12 years old (and anyone under 15 must have a parent present) . Orientation is first night of class 6-7pm NO DOGS FIRST NIGHT. Must have proof of current rabies vaccination and certificate must be brought to class the first night. All participants must sign a liability waiver. Starting SoonCanine Good Citizen ProgramGeneralYou and your dog both MUST have basic obedience to attend this class. BRING DOG FIRST NIGHT FOR THIS CLASS. This is training course for responsible owners, well-mannered dogs to be good neighbors, friends and a role model in your community. The AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program is recognized as the gold standard for dog behavior. In CGC, dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test can earn a certificate and/or the official AKC title. Testing for CGC is held on last night of class. Must have proof of current rabies vaccination and certificate must be brought to class the first night. All participants must sign a liability waiver.
