Re-Entry: peaceful living with back-home adult children

Enrichment and Recreation / General -
SprSummer 2024

Do you have an adult child returning to your home from their freshman year of college, a gap year, an internship, or even college graduation? Parents have adjusted to life without that child in the house, and the kids have had LOTS of experiences that don’t include their parents. Everyone has a different sense of identity, freedom and independence. And now, the child is coming back home, and everyone is both excited and unsure of what ‘RE-ENTRY’ will look like.

We know that the family dynamic of ‘before’ won’t work now, and the new situation is headed into uncharted waters. Except, it’s not. Millions of families have navigated this transition – some gracefully, others, not so much.

Your family can avoid some unnecessary conflict, and this workshop will provide some proven tools and strategies to ease the transition! You’ll leave with the framework of a plan for preventing, and addressing, issues that come up as you settle into your new family dynamic.
