About Age to Age - Power Lunch

The Power Lunch Reading Program is a national literacy based mentoring program aimed at building reading skills and a love of reading among elementary students.  Power Lunch matches community volunteers with first and second grade students at Churchill and Washington Elementary Schools.  Students and volunteers share lunch together one day per week in the school's media center.  They spend a brief time socializing, and then read together in an one-on-one setting.
