An overview of a model of multifamily housing which combines a collaborative and cooperative community of full-featured private homes with common spaces, activities, and governance. Examples in the U.S. will be discussed and resources will be recommended to use as follow up.
Lee A. Pedersen is a retired librarian from Brown University. She has lived in Duluth since 2014. Managing the care of her parents led to research into cohousing for her own future living. Through education venues, she is looking for partners to create a community in the Northland.
