Power Lunch Program
Learn about 50+ (aka Seniors, Elders, Active Adult) communities based on cohousing principles of a property with full-featured private homes and common spaces, meals, values, governing, and activities. Explore examples of senior communities, discuss principles and practices, and receive a handout with resources recommended to use for follow up.
Lee A. Pedersen is a retired librarian from Brown University. She has lived in Duluth since 2014. Managing the care of her parents led to research into senior cohousing for her own future living. Through education venues, she is looking for partners to create an adult-only community in the Northland.
