Starting SoonBasic Dog ObedienceGeneralBring your dog (6 months and older) to learn basic commands: come, sit, lay down, and stay. Learn how to walk your dog comfortably on a leash (no flexy leash/leads), and how to pay attention to you instead of other dogs or distractions. Participants must be adult or at least 12 years old (and anyone under 15 must have a parent present) . Orientation is first night of class 6-7pm NO DOGS FIRST NIGHT. Must have proof of current rabies vaccination and certificate must be brought to class the first night. All participants must sign a liability waiver. CDC guidelines will be followed, including distancing and maximum number of participants. Instructor Jennifer Jablonski is a trainer at Twin Ports Dog Training Club.Winter 2025

Beginning GermanGeneralThis German crash course will start with learning the German alphabet and practicing reading German correctly. During the second meeting we are going to start making simple sentences with the verb "to be", describing your family, friends, or expressing your opinion about something you see during a trip to Germany. For example, showing family pictures you can say: " Meine Familie ist nicht groß" or: " Meine Kinder sind Studenten an der Universität Minnesota ". After that we will practice sentences with the verb "to have"/haben that will enable you say things like : I have a pet/ Ich habe ein Haustier. Or: I have German friends/ Ich habe deutsche Freunde.We will learn about 10 German verbs useful for travelling, shopping, receiving guests. My plan is to start the course in person in Cloquet and after 2-3 lessons to continue it per Skype because I am going to be in Gerrmany.Spring/Summer 2025

Starting SoonCanine Good Citizen ProgramGeneralYou and your dog both MUST have basic obedience to attend this class. BRING DOG FIRST NIGHT FOR THIS CLASS. This is training course for responsible owners, well-mannered dogs to be good neighbors, friends and a role model in your community. The AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program is recognized as the gold standard for dog behavior. In CGC, dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test can earn a certificate and/or the official AKC title. Testing for CGC is held on last night of class. Must have proof of current rabies vaccination and certificate must be brought to class the first night. All participants must sign a liability waiver. CDC guidelines will be followed, including distancing and maximum number of participants. Instructor Jennifer Jablonski is a trainer at Twin Ports Dog Training Club. We will need a minimum of 6 participants to hold the class.Winter 2025
