  • Gentle Yoga flow

    This class is designed to break down the foundations of yoga postures, allowing time to deepen awareness in the body and mind as we link breath and movement. We use an internal focus to bring calm and consciousness to the mind. We will work through seated (floor) and standing postures. We will be moving though some postures that are weight bearing on hands and knees. There will always be options to modify or advance poses depending on your level. It is always encouraged to listen to your body and avoid or modify poses when needed. We will end class with a well-deserved relaxation to integrate all the work we did and bring balance to the body. Beginner focus and all levels are welcome. Yoga mat required.P Please choose the correct payment option for a single day of the Gentle Yoga Class or the full session.
  • Guided Wild Mushroom Walk

    This class is ideal for folks that already have some basic knowledge of wild mushrooms or have previously taken the Wild Mushrooms 101 class and are looking for more practice foraging and identifying mushrooms in the field. In this class we will go on a guided hike with wild mushroom identification and foraging expert, Ariel Bonkoski, to practice identifying in the field and hopefully find some yummy, foraged finds to go home with! Students should come prepared in comfortable clothes and shoes to hike in and water. Optional things to bring are baskets, mesh bags, paper bags, etc. to carry mushrooms in during the hike and your wild mushroom field guides.

    Hand-pulled noodles are so much fun and they are much easier to make than you would think. In this online interactive class, you will learn 2 different techniques to pull noodles. We will make 2 types of hand-pulled noodles: Biang Biang and Lamian noodles. We’ll turn Biang Biang noodles into a noodle salad with chili sauce. We’ll turn Lamian noodles into miso noodle soup.

In this workshop, you will learn: my famous ‘10 Minute Miracle Exercise’ series to strengthen lower body muscles quickly and, in the process, increase metabolism and bone density; decrease 2 inches off saddlebag area in 2 weeks; trim inches off lower body by getting rid of excess water weight; breathing technique to stimulate fat metabolism; acupressure points for lymph circulation and drainage. If you don’t have time/money/inclination to haul yourself to a gym several times a week, you will love these powerful and effective techniques. You will need a resistance band, tied in a loop for the ’10 Minute Miracle Exercise’.

Captain Cameron will share the techniques he has been perfecting for the last 10 years on water. This 5-hour hands-on class is geared to the fisherman interested in learning how to effectively troll for salmon and lake trout. Topics covered include downriggers, lure selection, planer boards, lead core/copper, dipsy divers and much more. By the end of class you will know how to effectively run a 12 rod spread on any boat. The class will be held live while trolling on the waters of Lake Superior on our fully rigged 10 meter Trojan. Need to have a MN fishing license.

    Course description: Calling all explorers! In this class, we’ll learn how to find direction with a compass and read a map. Then we’ll use our new skills on a scavenger hunt around the park! Please dress for the weather and prepare for the chance of bugs. Participants will receive a simple compass to take home.
